MEANING BEHIND THE NAME

Throughout my career I have realized that while helping others brings me joy, I especially love when people get an “Aha! Lightbulb!” kind of moment while I am teaching them something. I believe that how one moves is very important . It is my desire and goal for everyone to know how to move their body properly and understand some of the reasons why they should be intentionally moving a certain way vs. the mentality that they need to push themselves to the edge every time they are in the gym or doing an exercise workout. This is how the name Intentional Movement came about . Being intentional about the exercises I select for myself and tailor for my clients is quite important. The movements have a purpose and different exercises are selected dependent upon client goals. Whether the goal is to climb a mountain, be able to play with the kids, get off of a medication or to just to feel better in general, I want to teach people sustainable movement that they can continue to do successfully  for years and years to come. I have the privilege to change lives for a living, which is an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding enterprise.

Haley is not only a great trainer, she is also very fun and personable. When training with her, there have been plenty of times that I thought "what did I get myself into?" She is always challenging me and pushes me to perform my best. She is very knowledgable in what she does.
